Organizer’s rights and responsibilities
- Liability: The organizer’s liability may be limited, and they often exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages, but they usually cannot exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Right to refuse admission: Organizers can refuse entry to anyone, even with a valid ticket, at any time.
Buyer’s and attendee’s responsibilities
- Payment and accuracy: Buyers must pay for the ticket and provide accurate information.
- Illegal activities: Buyers are prohibited from counterfeiting or illegally using tickets.
- Conduct: Attendees must adhere to the organizer’s code of conduct, which may include rules about not interfering with demonstrations or other attendees.
Event and ticket rules
- Ticket validity: Only official tickets are valid.
- Non-transferable passes: Passes for exhibitors are often non-transferable and must be signed.
- Canvassing: Canvassing by non-exhibitors or visitors is often not allowed and can lead to expulsion.
- No refunds: Tickets are often non-returnable and non-refundable,
- Changes to terms: The terms and conditions can be updated by the organizer.
